Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As a Health & Wellbeing Specialist, you play a key role in administering and supporting the Arc’teryx employee experience through our Canadian group benefits plans, leaves, wellness and retirement savings programs. As our team supports the North America region, there is opportunity to support US programs and initiatives. You support the full cycle of program design, delivery and implementation, administration, communication, and reporting, as well as input to policy development and process improvements.This role is based out of our North Vancouver office with occasional onsite support at our ARC’One distribution centre in Recent Westminster and is open to hybrid remote work schedule. We seek to drive greater alignment to our purpose through continued evolution of our total practices, while fostering a culture of belonging that generates high-performance, strength-based teams, and values-based leadership.If you were a Health & Wellbeing Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Contributing to the design, delivery and implementation of the company’s employee total wellbeing programs related to group health and dental benefits, wellness, leaves and absences, retirement, recognition and additional perquisitesPrimarily supporting Canadian perks with the opportunity to support US program initiativesParticipating in enrollment processes for group medical benefits and retirement savingsDelivering benefits presentations and education series during onboarding and wellness monthsShaping benefits communications, promoting benefits offerings and ensuring employees understand the eligibility criteria of available programsProviding internal Payroll and HRIS teams direction on accurate employee and employer premium calculations and top-up paymentsSupporting the auditing and reporting requirements in compliance with the federal and provincial statutory regulations and the CRAProviding consultation to key internal stakeholders, including Arc’teryx People & Culture team, and business partners on program awareness,



policies and best practicesBuilding strong rapport and flagging escalations required from all employee benefits tickets with key internal and external stakeholders to identify timely solutions and process improvementsProviding recommendations on technical ticketing system efficiencies/automation and determining effectiveness or benefits categories based on data extracts and reporting, SLA’s and evolving programs and perquisitesSupporting the design and asset inventory of the Company intranet page to creatively promote available total rewards programs, policies and wellness initiativesSupporting the management of paid-time off programs and other perquisitesRegularly auditing and reporting on employee data integrity to ensure employee selections are accurate within carrier and HR systemsParticipating in other total rewards projects and duties, as assignedHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Supporting on communication tools and employee self-service resources and assets to enhance the awareness and understanding of the company’s health and wellbeing programsSupporting the implementation and championing the usage of new health and wellbeing programs and/or policy changes. Collaborating with internal and external partners on implementing market leading programs and key enrollment processes that are authentic to Arc’teryxRegularly reviewing internal and external carrier process improvements to better support a seamless employee experienceRegularly reporting and auditing of data related to enrollments and program utilizationAre you our next Health & Wellbeing Specialist?You have a post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business (or the equivalent experience), with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience with a Canadian benefits environmentYou have, or are working towards a CEBS GBA 1 and GBA 2You have foundational knowledge of Canadian benefits-related legislation, with the ability to learn and understand emerging Canada and global regulationsYou possess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsYou have a good understanding of benefit program processes, benefit plan details and government-mandated benefitsYou have a mindset of continuous improvement, and you challenge the status quo, implementing process improvements as possibleYou have a strong customer service orientation,



able to establish collaborative working relationships with stakeholders at all levelsYou can handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.You effectively balance autonomy and collaborationYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living itCompensation:The salary range for this role is CAD$71,000 –CAD$89,000Total RewardsMost new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role.
