Position OverviewWe are seeking a responsible and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee post-arrival cargo coordination, trucking dispatch scheduling, appointment management, as well as invoice issuance and reconciliation. This role requires close communication with the internal operations team, trucking suppliers, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations and accurate billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.Key ResponsibilitiesContainer Pickup and Delivery CoordinationCoordinate container pickup arrangements following cargo arrival, ensuring timely customs clearance and retrieval.Plan and schedule trucking deliveries based on arrival schedules and customer requirements to ensure on‑time service.Liaise with trucking suppliers to create dispatch schedules, monitor transportation progress, and handle any service disruptions.Appointment ManagementCommunicate with warehouses and customers to arrange container pickups, warehouse deliveries, and customer site appointments.Ensure that transportation schedules align with warehouse and client requirements to minimize waiting time and demurrage costs.Invoice Processing and ReconciliationIssue internal invoices promptly,
ensuring compliance with financial system procedures.Collect and verify trucking supplier invoices against actual service records to complete invoice reconciliation.Identify and resolve any invoice discrepancies by communicating directly with suppliers.Data Management and ReportingMaintain and update logistics data related to container pickups, deliveries, and invoice reconciliation.Submit regular logistics coordination reports to support operational monitoring and continuous improvement.Other ResponsibilitiesAssist supervisors with other logistics coordination tasks as required.Actively participate in team meetings and provide recommendations to improve logistics and billing processes.Candidate RequirementsEducation: College diploma or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, transportation dispatching, or freight operations. Familiarity with container pickup, trucking dispatch, and appointment scheduling is preferred.Skills: Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills; High attention todetail, especially in invoice review and reconciliation; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with logistics management systems is an asset.Other: Positive attitude, proactive mindset, willingness to learn and grow, ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast‑paced setting; Bilingual in English and Chinese is an asset.Job TypeFull‑timePayFrom $50,000.00 per yearBenefitsDental careExtended health careLife insuranceVision careLanguageMandarin (preferred)Work LocationIn person#J-18808-Ljbffr
