Essential Duties and responsibilitiesLead discussions on Retail planning outlook to support accurate forecasting, strategic plans, and in-year plan achievementSupports HLF forecasting, demand planning and consensus approach, via the S&OP process, facilitating ongoing ‘Risks and Opportunities’ identification and timely solutionsLead or support strategic projects that enhance Sales Planning capabilitiesDrive the activity/solutions gap to sales forecast and budget. Ensure that cross-functionally gaps are reviewed, resolved or escalated with recommendations and alternatives for closure. Lead and facilitate cross functional teams to coordinate execution to rectify gap to plan.Plays a leadership role in the innovation process, working cross‑functional partners to deliver against Innovation Best Practices, KPIs, within Slotting Fee Budget and Planogram key launch windowsEnsures Commercial and Brand plans are built with channel and customer strategies in mind, leading to the development of gold standards and executional plans for the Sales TeamDrives the development of Retail Channel and Customer strategies to address the changing needs of the diverse shoppers across all channels in the North American retail marketplace Contributes to the development and evolution of the Retail Customer Segmentation and Resource Distortion ModelWorks with Sales and FP&A to drive and deliver Price/Trade optimization, leveraging RGM guardrails and principlesEnsures that price, promotion, distribution, shelving, and retail strategies are developed with a relentless focus on flawless execution and delighting the shopperLeads the channel/segment trade/promotional deployment strategy (trade elements, timing, areas of focus)
and the activities to drive growth and profitability across customer portfolioDrives optimization of retail trade spend. Drives accountability in sales on annual trade spend budgeting activities. Evaluates/screens the strategic and financial fit of any incremental Sales spending requests to deliver ROIPartners with Marketing, Category Management and Insights teams to ensure selling materials are grounded in insights and tell a compelling story outlining key customer benefitsQualificationsResults driven/achievement focused: always keeps the end goal in mind. The typical hiring range for this position is from$110K - $140K ; the base pay is offeredbased on a variety of factors including geographical market location, and may vary depending on job grading practices, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity factors.
