At BOORTMALT BIGGAR, we have an immediate need for an Apprentice Millwright with a minimum of 3600 hours of trade experience. In this full time role, you will be integral to our maintenance team, responsible for maintaining and repairing critical plant assets. Your participation in safety initiatives and maintenance procedures is crucial for operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
• Perform corrective maintenance as required
• Participate in safety and training programs
• Respond to urgent breakdowns for repairs
• Engage in additional assigned maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3600 Trade Experience Hours
• English fluency necessary for communication
• Ability to work day shifts with overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail in maintenance tasks
• Basic industrial safety knowledge
