In this vital position, you will work within WAHA's Integrated Indigenous Health division, applying your clinical skills to elevate community health and promote wellness strategies. Engage directly with patients and local leaders to implement evidence-based programs, addressing the unique health needs and challenges of the communities you serve. Your role will enable you to make meaningful contributions to health equity and cultural safety.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead health promotion initiatives with Indigenous perspectives • Provide education on health and wellness topics • Collaborate closely with community leadership and Elders • Integrate preventative care strategies across services • Conduct assessments to identify health risks and needs

Requirements: • Certification as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner • Active CNO registration and positive standing • Minimum of 3-5 years NP experience • Additional certifications preferred (mental health, pediatric) • Knowledge of Cree language is desirable
