About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Tax to lead its global tax function and serve as a senior tax advisor across the enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's tax compliance, accounting, and planning, with a focus on direct tax in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in Canadian corporate tax and IFRS tax accounting, as well as a strong command of international tax and transfer pricing concepts. The VP, Tax will also be involved in managing tax audits, and disputes,



and will act as a strategic thought partner for the company's financial and business leaders.

Applicants for the Vice President, Tax position at the company should have a CPA (or equivalent) and a specialized tax credential. Progressive tax experience, including public company and multi-jurisdictional exposure, is essential, with a background in the media, entertainment, or IP-intensive industry being an asset. The role demands a leader who is resourceful, and comfortable working with a lean team and external advisors, and who has excellent executive-communication and thought-partnership skills. Experience in a SOX/NI 52-109 control environment and ERP-enabled process improvement is also required.
