We value collaboration, innovation, and respect.Global Impact : Be part of a team whose work reaches across oceans and borders.The RoleThe Manufacturing Planner is an integral component of the transfer of orders from engineering to production through the review, development, and implementation of detailed bills of manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with planning, purchasing, inventory and receiving teams to ensure timely and efficient job executionSupport the Team Lead and Production Planning Administrator as requiredSet‑up and maintain an inventory of manufactured partsGenerate work orders and print travelers/packages for production in a timely mannerWork in Visual regularly, setting up min/max levels and lead times.



Monitor and update as requiredWork closely with the Purchaser to initiate purchase orders according to inventory and demandReview work order pre‑pull materials list and review for coordination with warehouse operations and stock managementMonitor work order progress and flag delays or bottlenecks as requiredSupport standardization of part numbering / descriptionsReceive drawings, bills of material and specifications from engineering. Request master updates as neededProvide and/or receive estimates for projects that include the hours and materials used to develop the quoteUpdate work order want dates as neededMonitor open WIP and ensure timely review, resolution, and closure of work orders to maintain accurate system dataUse software such as Visual, SmartViews and company platformsWork in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable recordsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED equivalent1‑2 years’ experience in manufacturingPrevious experience using ERP system including maintaining mastersStrong interpersonal skills such as verbal and written communication, and listening with a proven ability to communicate technical matters to all levels of the organization effectivelyKnowledge of manufacturing capabilities within the company as well as productive manufacturing process capabilities of subcontractorsAble to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsAbility to develop a high level of product knowledge, knowledge of inventory parts made in house and standard shop practises#J-18808-Ljbffr
