Scholars of Don Mills is looking for a motivated and energetic Part-time High School Math, Physics & Coding Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic growth and personal confidence. The selected candidate will receive training in Scholars’ proven teaching methodology and must be comfortable teaching high school Mathematics and Physics up to Grade 12 . Here’s what we’re looking for:
Ability to teach Math and Physics up to Grade 12
Experience teaching basic coding and robotics, such as ScratchJr, Scratch, and LEGO Education SPIKE Prime or similar programs.
Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students
Ontario Certified Teacher is preferred (adaptable at the Centre Director’s discretion)
Candidates in Teachers College or university designation towards math and/or sciences are encouraged to apply
Previous experience working with students is an asset
Vulnerable Sector Check to be completed
Excellent English oral and written skills
A passion to help students reach their potential
Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of one shift per week during our hours of operation listed below. The shift must be on Thursday. An additional shift may be added on Saturday or another day in the future.
Thursday - 4:00PM - 8:00PM

Pay: $20.00 per hour
