Tim Hortons in Amherst, NS is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations in a rural area setting. This is a permanent, shift-based role working 42 to 48 hours per week across a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities
Evaluate daily operations and plan and organize workflow
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Monitor and review staff performance; conduct performance reviews
Supervise and train staff
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Lead and instruct team members
Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide customer service
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate




1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
First Aid Certificate
Protected Food Handling Certificate
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace under pressure with tight deadlines
Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail
Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
