Horizon Recruitmentis recruiting for aSupply Chain Business Analystto support a growing procurement team. This role is focused on turning complex procurement and operational data into meaningful business insights that improve decision-making, contract management strategies, inventory planning, and departmental performance. The successful candidate will work closely with procurement leadership and cross-functional teams to develop analytics, reporting tools, and dashboards that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a data‑driven procurement professional who enjoys combining analytics, systems thinking, and process improvement in a collaborative setting.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain procurement databases while ensuring data integrity and accessibilityDevelop automated processes and tools to improve data accuracy, reporting, and workflow efficiencyIntegrate and manage data from multiple internal and external sourcesCreate dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into procurement performance and key metricsAnalyze purchasing trends, vendor activity, inventory usage, and cost data to support strategic decision-makingSupport procurement strategy development through data analysis, forecasting, and benefit trackingMonitor key performance indicators and develop metrics tied to departmental objectivesIdentify contract renewal timelines, pricing review opportunities,
and compliance requirementsPartner with technical teams on cross-functional data and systems initiativesLead or support technology implementation and information systems projects within the departmentPrepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership teams and project stakeholdersResearch and recommend improvements to procurement data management processes and reporting practicesMaintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation related to procurement analytics activitiesRequirementsDegree in business, finance, statistics, or a related fieldAdditional training or experience in database management and business analyticsExperience working with procurement, supply chain, or purchasing dataStrong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and reporting methodologiesExperience designing and maintaining databases and data structuresAbility to interpret complex datasets and identify trends, risks, and cost‑saving opportunitiesExperience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutionsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervisionComfortable presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teamsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Power BI, Visio, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with contract tracking, procurement systems, or inventory analytics is considered an assetRemunerationSalary range of approximately $100,000 annuallyFull benefits packageOnly candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered#J-18808-Ljbffr
