The senior network administrator is responsible for several duties within the Johnson Controls Sustainable Infrastructure ICAT (Information, Communication, Automation, Technology) team, including architecting, deploying, and maintaining network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless. Responsibilities Manage the procurement process and physical installation for new network equipment across multiple customer sites. Manage and maintain the structured cabling across multiple customer sites. Schedule and manage electrical and cabling contractors to perform required work. Install, configure, harden, and maintain network operating systems. Configure and troubleshoot firewall/IPS policies and access control lists. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot cybersecurity products such as two-factor authentication and endpoint protection solutions. Perform wireless surveys to identify coverage and performance issues. Implement system improvements to address deficiencies. Maintain an asset /software inventory, system documentation, and diagrams for all network infrastructures across customer sites. Write standard operating procedures documentation and facilitate knowledge
