Job Summary
We are looking for two Summer Students to support our Nephrology Research Program by assisting with a systematic review and meta‑analysis.
Employment Details
Duration: Up to August 28, 2026 (subject to change)
Reporting Relationship: Manager, Research
Hiring Salary Range: $20/hour
Availability: Monday–Friday; with some flexibility as required
Union: Non‑Union
Location: Hennick Humber Hospital (Wilson)
Responsibilities
Research protocol development
Literature searches
Title and abstract screening
Full‑text retrieval and screening
Data extraction
Risk of bias assessment
Statistical analysis
Report writing
Qualifications
Must be actively enrolled in post‑secondary education.
Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply; preference will be given to local residents.
Intermediate/proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Superior organizational skills and detail‑oriented.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to multitask competing priorities.
Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented workplace.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
