Vancity seeks a Governance Consultant to strengthen its governance framework within a hybrid work model. Contribute to a member-focused organization committed to environmental and social goals.

As a Governance Consultant, you will be instrumental in executing governance processes and providing detailed documentation support for Vancity's Regulatory Compliance. Your ability to coordinate governance activities and manage stakeholder interactions will ensure adherence to compliance oversight and strengthen Vancity's governance practices. This role reports to the Senior Manager and involves significant engagement with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and maintain meeting agendas and logs • Coordinate regulatory compliance timelines and governance actions • Produce structured governance reporting for stakeholders • Track and escalate compliance issues promptly • Ensure records meet audit-ready standards consistently

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Law or Compliance • Minimum 5 years of experience in governance-related roles • Proven ability to manage governance committee and oversight • Robust skills in preparing executive-level materials • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
