Responsibilities include:
Take customer orders at the counter and serve guests
Prepare, heat, and finish straightforward food items using ovens, grills, and deep fryers
Package take-out food and portion and wrap items
Operate dishwashers and hand-wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, storage areas, and equipment
Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations
Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Sweep, mop, and polish floors; remove kitchen garbage and waste
Keep records of food quantities used
Stock refrigerators and salad bars
Handle and store cleaning products
Sharpen kitchen knives




Load buspans and trays; clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs

Physical requirements:

Quick-paced setting, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, work under pressure.
