At Kaminsky’s Dessert Café, dessert isn’t the end of the meal—it’s the main event. Nestled in the heart of downtown Charleston, we’re a cozy, late-night destination where towering milkshakes, decadent cakes, and spirited sips steal the show. Whether it’s date night, girls’ night, or a solo sweet escape, Kaminsky’s is where flavor and fun meet.

We’re part of the Homegrown Hospitality Group—a crew of 9 distinct restaurant concepts and 15+ locations across South Carolina. Different flavors, same heart.

The Role: Host / Cake Cutter

We’re looking for an energetic, dessert-loving, people-person to keep things flowing at the front of house and behind the cake counter. You’ll greet guests, manage seating, cut and plate our house-made desserts, and make sure every visit ends on a sweet note.

What You’ll Do
Be our guests’ first and final impression—with warmth, charm, and a little sparkle
Slice up and serve signature cakes that look as valuable as they taste
Keep the dessert display drool-worthy
Package takeout orders like edible gifts
Handle the POS system and keep things running smoothly




Support your teammates like a true team player
Plate and garnish desserts with flair
Balance the register and prep for the next shift like a boss

16+ years of life experience and valuable vibes

Pay Range

$7.25 – $15/hr + tips, depending on experience and availability
