Since our beginnings in the late 1980s, CSFS has grown to over 545 employees providing services to 11 member Nations.The OpportunityProvide a range of clinical, concrete and advocacy services to family members with drug and alcohol dependency that are consistent with the family’s values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances and culture.Collect information from a variety of sources using skills of observation, communication and physical assessment to enable the provision of appropriate nursing care.Write timely and accurate reports of relevant assessments and observations including patient and family education and evaluation of nursing care.Collaborate with family members and referents in developing intervention goals and service plans.What You Will Bring to The RoleCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) -Provincial Opioid Addictions Treatment Support Program (POATSP) for RN/RPN prescribing Opioid Agonist Therapy, or willingness to obtain.Current CPR (Level C) certification.RN first Call or Remote Certified practice, or willingness to obtain.RN Contraception Management certified,
or willingness to obtain.RN Immunization Certification certified, or willingness to obtain.RN STI/STBBI management certified, or willingness to obtain.British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS (BCCfE)- Clinical Education and Training Program, or willingness to obtain.BCCfE- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PREP) Course, or willingness to obtain.The LocationPrince George sits on the traditional lands of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation and is the largest city in northern B.C.
