Supporting the Facilities Manager, you will focus on cleanliness and maintenance to create a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities span cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and assisting with event setup. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently in a church setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sanitize washrooms and common areas
• Vacuum and maintain carpets
• Perform minor repairs and lighting replacements
• Check the sanctuary for cleanliness
• Maintain outdoor areas and walkways
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; custodial experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety protocols
• Basic skills in repair tasks and eventually lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and flexibility
• Pass a pre-employment background check
