Housekeeper – Parkland Truro (Truro, Nova Scotia)We are searching for aHousekeeperto join ourParkland Truroteam based inTruro, Nova Scotia .ResponsibilitiesThoroughly clean common areas including lobbies, hallways, and stairwellsSweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms.Completes common area housekeeping duties as per assignmentCollect refuse from residents' rooms and dispose of this refuse in accordance with set proceduresDocuments all completed job routine tasksCompletes audits and inspections as requiredCompletes resident’s personal laundry services as requestedCommunicates supply needs to People Leader in a timely mannerEfficiently uses supplies and equipment to maintain service quality levelsClean and restock housekeeping cart; notify Supervisorwhen supplies are lowPromote safety culture by continuously working safely including but not limited to identifying and reporting hazards, following protected work practices and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment, supporting others to work safely and completing safety education.All additional duties as assigned/requiredQualificationsA High School diploma or equivalent educationMinimum of one year experience in commercial housekeeping and/ or laundryA high level of initiative for and commitment to completing housekeeping assignments efficiently and in a warm, friendly,
