Toromont Cat is hiring a licensed Tractor Technician with at least five years of Caterpillar experience. In this role, you will lead the onboarding of new technicians and deliver hands-on training to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety policies. Your contributions will directly enhance technician skills and overall shop efficiency while supporting their career progression.

Key Responsibilities:



• Instruct apprentices and technicians on secure work practices • Conduct orientation for current Journeyperson and Apprentice Technicians • Assess and authorize apprentice progression based on competency reviews • Collaborate with management to maintain training records • Ensure quality standards in all shop processes

Requirements: • Licensed Tractor Technician with 5+ years Cat experience • Training experience as a lead-hand is preferred • Strong understanding of safe work policies • Proficient in Microsoft Office/SIS/ET • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
