In-home caregiver – private home – CaBe… family

- NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider

Responsibilities

1. This job is to help with the care of 4 children: a 5 year old, and twin 3 year olds
2. Supervision of children when parents are not at home
3. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
4. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
5. Bathe children as needed
6. General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing
7. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications

1. Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
4. Experience with young babies is an asset

Employment details

Terms of employment:



This job is for a full time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job starts as soon as possible.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the provincial minimum wage rate changes.

Location: CaBe… lives in the city of Sherbrooke, in Quebec. The home is situated in the Eastern Townships. Public transportation is available.
