When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data‑driven insights to build a healthier future.About the PositionThe Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense transactions for ALS Canada Ltd. This role supports the Finance department by maintaining robust internal controls, resolving vendor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies.Specific ResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.Match invoices to purchase orders, review discrepancies, and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.Ensure proper tax treatment (GST/HST/PST) and coding of expenses in alignment with company accounting standards.Act as a primary contact for vendor inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.Investigate and resolve discrepancies, billing issues, and payment questions.Maintain organized and complete records of all accounts payable transactions.Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.Ensure compliance with ALS corporate policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.Identify opportunities to improve A/P workflows, automation, and data accuracy.Participate in finance system upgrades, testing, and A/P‑related projects.Contribute to the continuous improvement culture within the Finance team.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills.High level of diligence and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (e.G., Oracle),
