We’re hiring right now; if you’re interested, apply below for your chance to join a outstanding place to work.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of a dynamic multi-functional finance transformation team, you will have the following responsibilities:Program delivery, stakeholder and change managementDrive requirements, testing, cutover, and change management within Finance, Actuarial, IT, and vendors; identify risks and mitigation to meet project timelines and business objectives.Insurance accounting (IFRS 17) technical leadershipLead the enhancement of detailed requirements that underpin key IFRS 17 metrics, accounting policies, reporting, calculation rules (GMM/VFA), CSM mechanics, and disclosures.Systems and integration requirementsDirect development of end-to-end requirements for GL, subledgers, actuarial outputs, investment systems, policy administration, and data lake integrations, including reconciliation rules. Translate business requirements into system specifications and testable acceptance criteria.Finance & Actuarial process optimizationIdentify opportunities to simplify workflows, remove manual steps, and implement automation and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk while working collaboratively across finance, Actuarial and IT functions to identify financial optimization opportunities.Controls, compliance and SOX governanceSupport the implementation and review of EUC controls, control requirements,
and audit trails across models, spreadsheets and systems; prepare/review documentation for auditors.Must have skills3-7+ years in insurance finance transformation, accounting, actuarial, or financial systems delivery with hands‑on life insurance products and investments knowledge.Knowledge of IFRS and proven experience developing & defining technical IFRS 17 measurement models (GMM, VFA, PAA), accounting requirements, and/or implementing downstream reporting.Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical system, process, and methodology documentation.Strong project management skills with experience in large-scale programs/initiatives.Strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical topics to finance and IT leaders.A professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, etc.) or actuarial designation (FSA, FCIA, etc.), or completion of a Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Finance.Nice to have skillsCertification: CA/CPA/CGA/CMA/MBA/CFAPractical experience with GL/subledger, actuarial valuations, policy administration systems, and finance data warehouses.Familiarity with Accounting Hub, CSM calculators, modern BI/reporting tools, and cloud platforms.Financial data architecture experience in canonical models, lineage, ETL/ELT design, and reconciliation automation.We strive to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in.
