As a Guest Attendant, you’ll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well-being. you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.How You’ll SucceedProvide Resident Supervision and Assistance:Support residents with their activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming as per residents’ individual plans of careProvide Resident Care and Services:Answering all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service.Ensures that residents own personal grooming is appropriate and uniform/dress is clean, tidy and according to dress code; Assist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as requiredSupport Resident Comfort & Well-being:Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental care Completing laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments.Who You AreYou are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fullyYou are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.You have ‘Safe Serve’ designation and one year experience in dining room serviceYou have minimum grade 12 educationYou can work independently and/or as a member of a teamWhat you need to knowYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector CheckAll applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check.
