Staff Accountant / Public Practice

Vancouver Island, BC - Hybrid
$55,000-$68,000/year

Our client is a long-established CPA firm serving the North Island for over 50 years. We're looking for a motivated accounting professional to join our team and work with a diverse group of long-standing clients.

What you'll do:

- Prepare compilation engagements using CaseWare
- Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns
- Handle bookkeeping, payroll, GST, and reconciliations
- Communicate with clients and manage deadlines

What we’re looking for:

- 1-4 years of Canadian accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Robust bookkeeping and accounting skills
- Compilation experience preferred
- CaseWare/Taxprep experience is an asset




- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- CPA students and experienced accounting technicians are welcome
