Join AtkinsRéalis as a Mechanical Engineer focused on CANDU reactor components. This senior role entails supervising design work, ensuring compliance with nuclear standards, and supporting clients throughout Canada.

As a Senior Reactor Components Engineer, you will lead mechanical engineering efforts involving design modifications and technical document preparation. Your experience will ensure adherence to nuclear codes and quality standards. You will support site installations and troubleshooting while overseeing junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:



• Supervise mechanical engineering tasks on reactor components • Prepare design specifications and technical documents • Review calculations and design assessments for accuracy • Conduct site visits to support installations • Lead design phases for components from verification to installation

Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • Licensed Qualified Engineer in Ontario • Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience • Familiarity with GD&T; and nuclear codes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Mathcad
