MUST HAVE FOOD INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

SHELF-LIFE

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of assigned food and packaging products, while supporting promotion planning, inventory management, and distribution across restaurant operations in Canada.

Responsibilities

Supply Management

- Manage relationships with internal brand teams and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and distribution centers.
- Ensure a consistent and timely supply of products.
- Review weekly and monthly pricing, identify discrepancies, and confirm accuracy with appropriate stakeholders.
- Proactively identify supply risks and work directly with suppliers to resolve issues; escalate as needed and support resolution through completion.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to review distribution methods and logistics costs to ensure optimal freight efficiency.
- Establish and monitor vendor capacity and distribution capabilities to meet quality and service expectations.
- Participate in regular supplier performance and business reviews.
- Support forecasting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual projections for assigned products.

Promotions Planning & Inventory Management

- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, innovation, and quality assurance to support new product launches and promotional activities.
- Develop and manage timelines for limited-time-offer (LTO) products, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.




- Track product approvals and ensure timelines are met.
- Communicate marketing initiatives and demand forecasts to suppliers in a timely manner.
- Support inventory planning and distribution to ensure successful product rollouts and depletion strategies through coordinated supplier production and distribution plans.

LTO Purchasing

- Negotiate with suppliers for LTO products to achieve optimal landed cost at distribution centers.
- Evaluate and recommend suppliers to ensure a strong and efficient supply base.

Additional Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with franchisees and operational partners.
- Resolve distribution and supply issues efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and present supply chain updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in regional meetings as required.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5–8 years of relevant supply chain, procurement, or logistics experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- French language skills are a plus
