Job Posting: Full-time Child Caregiver for Our Loving Family of Four

We are a caring and busy family of four looking for a reliable and nurturing full time caregiver to join our household. We have two young boys, aged 3 years old and 1.5 years old. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, stimulating, and engaging setting for our children and support their daily care and development.

Position Details
Job Title: Child Caregiver – Private home

Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $20 per hour
Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Responsibilities
Provide attentive care for both children, meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
Take children to and from school and to appointments when needed.
Organize and coordinate activities such as games and outings for children and oversee these activities.
Change diapers and assist with potty training for the younger child.
Maintain a tidy and organized workplace.




Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
Reinforce appropriate discipline for the children according to the methods instructed by the parents.
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children, as needed.
Complete light housekeeping duties such as dishes, laundry, maintaining the eating area, tidiness of the child’s room and other routine housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications
High school completion.
Previous childcare experience is an asset; training will be provided.
Ability to successfully pass the Ministry of Children and Family Development’s criminal record screening.
A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their growth.
Ability to multitask and adapt to the needs of a busy household.
Non-smoker and able to provide a clean background check.
