In this position, you will perform various tasks in lifeguarding and aquatic instruction at Edmonds Community Centre. Duties involve operational, instructional, lifeguarding, janitorial, and maintenance tasks to deliver aquatic programs for all ages. You'll operate in accordance with established practices while supporting a safe and enjoyable workplace for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise aquatic programs ensuring patron safety
• Instruct various aquatic skills at set standards
• Perform janitorial and minor maintenance tasks




• Refer complex issues to a supervisor for guidance
• Maintain cleanliness and operational effectiveness
Requirements:
• Up to high school graduation plus relevant courses
• Certification in National Lifeguard – Pool
• Experience in lifeguarding and aquatic instruction
• Sound knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Police Information Check required
