Campbell River Christian School is located in Campbell River, mid-Vancouver Island in British Columbia. We are a vibrant Christian school serving families and students from Campbell River, Comox, Quadra Island, and Sayward. We are currently accepting applications for a part-time, temporary teaching position in Careers Education 8/9, Missions 12, and French 10 from Sept 9, 2026 to June 25, 2027 . The successful candidate will have qualifications/skills which include, but are not limited to:
- Possession of a valid BC Professional Teaching certificate/diploma
- Experience working with Middle Years students
- Robust assessment practices and familiarity with the Proficiency Scale of Assessment
- Demonstration of and growing understanding of incorporating Indigenous-focused learning
- Excellent understanding of and experience using differentiated instruction
- Demonstration of excellent teaching practices using current pedagogical best practices
- Demonstration of strong classroom management skills
- Possession of excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with staff in a team approach
- Evidence of a strong understanding and support of Christian education
- Ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all lessons
- Must be a practicing Christian with a commitment to the Statements of Faith as outlined in CRCS’s faith Statements as well as the statements of faith as outlined by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
