The Public Health Nurse role is based in the Families First department, providing essential services in public health. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Public Health Nursing and familiarity with Parent Survey Training. This position is designed for individuals who can work autonomously while engaging in teamwork and inter-professional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct public health services to families
• Implement Parent Survey Training for health assessments
• Collaborate with diverse health care partners
• Maintain qualified nursing standards and public health policies
• Utilize a population health promotion model effectively
Requirements:
• Two years of Public Health Nursing experience
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Active Practice Registration with RN Manitoba
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
