Reporting to the Senior Manager, Dealer Relations, you will play a key role in developing effective communications for our dealer and industry partners while also supporting administrative responsibilities that contribute to smooth team operations.The Communication Specialist will be responsible for:Administrative ResponsibilitiesManage team reporting requirements, including preparing regular and ad-hoc reports for leadershipMaintain and oversee the Dealer Relations team mailbox, ensuring timely responses, proper routing, and accurate record-keepingTrack, manage, and document communication schedules, procedures, and team metricsSupport administrative components of campaigns and projects, including scheduling, documentation,



and follow-upsSupport the Account Managers in research and resolution of operational issuesProcessing money movement to our dealer partners via A$M on FundservSupport the planning, organization, and execution of the annual Dealer Conference, including logistics, content coordination, timelines, and partner engagementProvide additional administrative support for the team where necessaryCommunication ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinating all aspects of internal and external dealer related communications for both print and online, including announcements and bulletinsManaging and updating content for the corporate website, intranet site, dealer broadcasts and newsletters; collaborate with partners to provide accurate and timely contentWork with the Senior Manager and other team members to ensure campaigns/plans are moving forward in a timely mannerWorking closely with Account managers on external communications content and supporting materialConsolidate, maintain, and document communication logs, schedules, procedures, and approved messaging for reference and reporting purposesThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:Working knowledge of asset management operations and the mutual fund industryExceptional business writing skills and advanced time management skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and consulting skillsExperience in developing and implementing communications campaigns for both internal and external audiencesStrong analytical, organizational and research skillsAttentive and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlinesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Adobe,



and related MS Office applicationsQuick learner of new technologiesPost–secondary degree or diploma in Communications or Public Relations an assetSuccessful completion of CSC and/or IFIC Operations is an assetWorking knowledge of AI tools and conceptsKnowledge of Fundserv and Mackenzie’s processing and reporting systems is considered an asset.The expected annual base salary range for this role is $52,000-$67,500 which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location.
