As this is a position of trust, all candidates must successfully meet strict screening, compliance, and site security requirements.

Responsibilities For Casual Security Guard

- Conduct vehicle searches as required
- Monitor and control site access and security operations
- Complete detailed and accurate reports
- Remain available and flexible for shift coverage as needed
- Stand and patrol for extended periods
- Work collaboratively with team members and site personnel




- Act as Team Lead when required, including supervising staff, making decisions, and ensuring site protocols are followed

Qualifications For Casual Security Guard

- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (must be obtained from Motor Registration)
- High School Diploma
- Robust communication and report writing skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read and write reports clearly and accuratelyPrevious security experience preferred
- Completion of a recognized security course is an asset
- Be authorized to work in Canada

Mandatory Requirements For Casual Security Guard

- No prior criminal convictions or history of offences
- Must obtain a Certificate of Conduct from both Court and Police
- Must be willing to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing (if selected)
- Must be able to work rotational shifts (days and nights)
