Fleet Monitoring
Design, implement, and maintain the on-vehicle control plane that retrieves cloud configuration and applies it across vehicle ECUs. Design, implement, and maintain the on-vehicle data plane that collects, processes, and forwards vehicle-system data to cloud storage. Optimize control and data planes for reliable data egress and configuration delivery over intermittent connectivity, rapid configuration convergence, and minimal CPU and memory usage. Work with Azure, AWS S3, and Firestore for configuration delivery, device state reporting, and data egress. Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to safely roll out on-vehicle software and configuration. Instrument software with observability for fleet monitoring, production diagnosis, and source-level issue resolution. Contribute to the open source community through issue reporting, documentation, and patches. Receive direct mentorship from senior engineers while building, testing, and maintaining embedded control and data-plane infrastructure.
