Victoria General Hospital seeks a part time Critical Care Nurse in Victoria, BC. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ critical care nursing experience or relevant certification. You will provide direct nursing care based on established competency guidelines, policies, and standards set by BCCNM.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver direct nursing care to patients
• Ensure compliance with VIHA's safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Organize workload and prioritize tasks effectively
• Conduct arrhythmia interpretation as needed
Requirements:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Completed accredited Critical Care course
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties
