Job SummaryPosition: Planner (Full‑time, non‑exempt) at LGG Industrial, Goodall Manufacturing in Collingwood, Ontario. The Planner coordinates and optimizes production schedules to ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment. This role works closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to meet production and delivery requirements. The Planner reports to the Production Manager.ResponsibilitiesMaintain 100% safety policy compliance.Provide quotes to internal and external customers.Manage raw material and finished goods inventory and perform cycle counts.Review safety stock targets and recommend changes.Plan production throughout the facility to meet stock and order targets.Provide completion dates and delivery estimates for orders.Issue production orders and schedules to the production office.Coordinate with raw material purchasing and MRO purchasing to ensure timely delivery.Adjust schedules as required.Highlight resource priorities to achieve schedule targets.Suggest plans to reduce lead time, waste, and maximize productivity.Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Robust interpersonal skills; effectively communicates with internal and external customers.Experience with operating systems, ERP,
and WMS.Experience in inventory investigations and root‑cause analysis.Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.Detail‑oriented, self‑starting, motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Understanding of manufacturing constraints.Minimum QualificationsMinimum 2 years of post‑secondary education in supply chain, operations, business, engineering, or a related field.Equivalent work experience and proven success accepted.Basic knowledge of inventory control and production processes.Familiarity with ERP systems.Proficient in following written and oral instructions in English.Ability to work overtime as required.Background check required.Preferred Qualifications1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.BenefitsCompetitive compensation plan (Pay Range: $65,000‑$75,000 CAD).Health benefits: medical, dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability.Defined contribution pension plan with company match.Paid time off.Other total rewards as offered by the company.Equal Opportunity EmployerLGG Industrial is an equal‑opportunity employer.
