We are seeking an Industrial Engineer on our Satellite Systems team in Montreal.RoleThe industrial engineer must cooperate with a multidisciplinary team in the continuous improvement of the company's processes. They ensure the consistency of processes across various work teams, designing and implementing tools used to assess the productivity of activities in corporate sectors. These activities impact the quality and efficiency of assembly and test operations for our space products. From the design phase until the clients receive the products, the engineer designs or reviews the processes used for advanced satellites, ensuring product quality by adhering to timelines and costs.For various continuous improvement projects, the engineer communicates efficiently with other program management, design, procurement, test, quality assurance and assembly teams.TasksManage and optimize processesCoordinate continuous improvement activitiesEnsure communication between the various playersBe a positive initiator of change and suggest new conceptsImprove quality and security in production and test areasLead or take part in the development and implementation of corrective actionsUnderstand and analyze all internal processesFollow the development of continuous improvement activitiesTake part in the development of various documents/processesRequired QualificationsAble to work in a team and to coordinate a teamKnowledge of Six Sigma,
