ACCES offers an excellent benefits package, an RRSP matching program, and an Employee & Family Assistance Program.The IT Accelerator program will provide youth between the ages of 15-30 with training and support to succeed in the current and future labour market. Through the program, youth will receive technical skills training, job search and employment preparation, job coaching, as well as the opportunity to gain work experience and full‑time employment.ResponsibilitiesProvide culturally sensitive employment services including intake and assessment, one‑to‑one and group employment counseling,



and referralsFacilitate workshops that will prepare clients to market themselves to employers and to find and maintain employmentDevelop and maintain positive relationships with community organizations and partners to make appropriate referralsMaintain an active caseload, including all file management responsibilitiesAdvocate on behalf of clients whenever necessary, including support in areas of employment, skills training, social assistance and equitable access to servicesMeet monthly statistical requirements and maintain qualified and effective information tracking systems on all activities performedConduct needs assessments and career testing in individual and/or group settingsProvide professional support to clients using ACCES resource servicesDevelop relationships with private and public sector employers in order to market ACCES services and clients and place clients in jobsParticipate fully and responsibly as an equal member of an employment consulting teamOther duties as assignedQualifications and ExperienceA post‑secondary education in Career and Work Counseling, Adult Education or a related field and/or 5 years directly related work experienceExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and self‑management skills to work effectively with clients, co‑workers,



outside agencies and employersThorough knowledge of all facets of job search and career development including an understanding of labour market trends and resourcesDemonstrated ability to conduct outreach and marketing of clients and services to employersDemonstrated experience in case and file managementExcellent presentation and facilitation skillsExperience working in an MS Office environment; familiarity with onlineplatforms and database management programs (ex.
