You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering a clear, consistent, and compelling employee experience – ensuring our people understand where we’re headed, why it matters, and how they contribute. Working in close partnership with Marketing, People & Culture, and business leaders across the organization, you will lead the development of internal communication strategies, channels, and content that bring our culture blueprint and strategic narrative to life. This role includes leadership of a small team and requires both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.Strategic communications leadershipLead the development and execution of enterprise internal communications strategies aligned to Central 1’s business priorities, transformation initiatives, and culture blueprintDevelop and maintain a clear, compelling strategic narrative that is consistently woven across internal channels, leadership communications,



and employee touchpointsProvide trusted counsel to senior leaders on internal communications approaches, messaging, and employee engagement strategiesAnticipate employee information needs and sentiment, ensuring proactive, transparent, and timely communicationEmployee experience & engagementEnsure communications meaningfully support employee understanding, connection, and pride in working at Central 1Partner with People & Culture and Marketing to develop and amplify a strong, authentic employer brand and employee value propositionSupport leaders in effectively communicating with their teams through messaging frameworks, toolkits, and guidanceContribute to initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational alignment during periods of changeChannel strategy & content excellenceOversee and continuously improve internal communication channels (e.G., intranet, newsletters, leadership updates, town halls) to ensure effectiveness, usability, and reachEstablish best practices, standards, and editorial governance across internal communicationsEnsure content is clear, consistent, and aligned with Central 1’s brand and voiceBalance efficiency with impact—streamlining channels and approaches while improving reach and engagementCollaboration & stakeholder partnershipWork cross‑functionally with Marketing, External & Client Communications, People & Culture, and other internal partners to ensure aligned and coordinated messagingLead and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and projects that require integrated communications supportAct as a key connector across teams to ensure employees receive consistent and coordinated informationTeam leadershipLead, coach, and develop a high‑performing internal communications team memberFoster a collaborative, accountable,



and continuous improvement‑oriented team environmentSet transparent objectives, provide feedback, and support ongoing professional developmentWhat You’ll HavePost‑secondary education in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years of progressively senior experience in internal or corporate communicationsA senior level of certification or accreditation, preferred SCMP, ABC or APRSignificant change management / change communications experience. Prosci certification is an assetDemonstrated experience developing and executing internal communications strategies in complex organizationsExceptional storytelling ability, with strength in translating business strategy into clear, engaging, employee‑focused messagingExperience managing communication channels and driving continuous improvement in reach and effectivenessStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organizationExperience working collaboratively with HR/People & Culture and Marketing teamsStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesHigh emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive or confidential issuesA collaborative, proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset aligned with Central 1’s valuesSalary range: $110,000 – $135,000Central 1 does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to screen, assess, or select applicants during our recruitment process.
