The Project Lead reports to the Scientific Director and will play a leadership role in the planning, execution, and evaluation of SKIP projects and initiatives, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure successful implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project workplans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Monitor progress, report status, and manage changes to scope, timeline, and budget in alignment with organizational priorities.Design and execute communication strategies, including internal and external messaging and content creation, to support knowledge mobilization efforts.Organize and lead project meetings with scientific leadership, staff, external partners, contracted personnel, and patient partners; create presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate outcomes and impact.Serve as a liaison with external partners (health professionals, community organizations, patient partners) to coordinate inclusive and culturally appropriate engagement outreach and activities.Provide administrative support to project teams: schedule meetings, prepare agendas, maintain documentation, monitor budgets, track expenditures, forecast needs, and support financial reporting.Collect and synthesize stakeholder feedback to assess project delivery effectiveness, knowledge mobilization, communication,



and engagement; support evaluation of outcomes and reporting.Travel nationally and internationally occasionally (Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in a relevant field (e.G., public health, psychology, pediatric medicine) plus at least three years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination).Experience managing projects with demonstrated flexibility, problem‑solving skills, and initiative.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance competing priorities to meet deadlines in an independent, low‑supervision workplace.Strong interpersonal, teamwork, relationship‑building, and written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experienced with video‑conference and webinar technology.Valid passport for travel purposes.AssetsExperience in designing and evaluating evidence‑to‑practice activities.Knowledge of child‑health and pain‑management research.Previous collaboration with community or patient partners.Experience in grant‑writing or funding proposal development.Job CompetenciesSelf‑Awareness & ProfessionalismRespect & InclusionAdaptabilityKnowledge & Thinking SkillsCommunicationAdditional InformationDalhousie University supports a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
