Senior Business Analyst, Medical Affairs – uses data-driven decision-making to advance medical affairs by designing, delivering, and optimizing reporting and analytics solutions. Focuses on enabling transparency in business and field performance, operational and compliance oversight for value transfer activities, and grants and giving monitoring through scalable reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics products.Key ResponsibilitiesNeeds Assessment & Solution DesignPartners with business, compliance, and leadership stakeholders to define reporting needs, prioritize initiatives that drive the greatest business and compliance impact, and translate them into scalable, high-impact solutions aligned to business priorities.Gathers and refines requirements, metrics, and data structures to support performance, operational, and compliance reporting.Leads the design, development, deployment, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions supporting operational business excellence and compliance monitoring.Acts as a reporting and analytics advisor, guiding interpretation of KPIs, trends, and performance insights to support decision-making and action.Analytics and Reporting Solutions DeliveryLeads the design, development, and enhancement of dashboards, reporting assets, and analytics solutions.Owns the reporting lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, validation, visualization, and audit readiness.Delivers with discipline by driving explicit ownership and accountability for reporting deliverables, executing against standardized KPI frameworks, and enabling transparent scorecards and performance tracking.Impact Measurement & Continuous ImprovementEstablishes and tracks KPIs to measure effectiveness, adoption, and business/compliance impact of reporting solutions.Drives continuous improvement by simplifying reporting processes, eliminating inefficiencies, enhancing automation and scalability, and applying insights and feedback to evolve reporting capabilities.Product Portfolio ManagementManages reporting and analytics solutions as a portfolio of operational reporting assets and data products designed to drive consistent, data‑driven decision‑making.Oversees lifecycle management from conception to deployment and iterative enhancement.Technology & Analytics InnovationDrives adoption of advanced analytics and reporting technologies (including AI) to enhance automation,



data quality, and performance transparency.Leads the migration and modernization of reporting solutions as part of CRM platform evolution.Identifies opportunities to optimize reporting through innovation, simplification, and new technologies.Stakeholder Engagement & Operational SupportWorks closely with cross‑enterprise business, IT, and global partners to align strategies, gather feedback, and ensure reporting solutions are effectively implemented and adopted.Builds strong partnerships by bringing the voice of the business and end users into reporting design and acting with urgency to address issues and deliver solutions.Provides ongoing reporting operations support, including issue resolution, data validation, and escalation management.Supports training, onboarding, and adoption of reporting tools and solutions.Regulatory & Compliance StandardsMakes strong focus on responsibility, compliance, and integrity in all reporting outputs.Core CompetenciesStrong strategic and operational reporting execution mindset (build, run, optimize).Expertise in data extraction, modeling, and reporting solution delivery.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills.Ability to identify and focus on high‑impact priorities and business outcomes.Demonstrated ability to deliver with discipline, ownership, and accountability.Continuous improvement mindset with focus on simplification, efficiency, and innovation.High attention to data accuracy, integrity, and compliance requirements.Technical SkillsSolid understanding and practical experience with data extraction, blending, and transformation tasks using tools like Dataiku, Alteryx, SQL or equivalent.Advanced experience in reporting and visualization tools (e.G., Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) to deliver scalable dashboards and reporting outputs.Experience with AI and Gen AI platforms and their application within a pharmaceutical, healthcare industry or other regulated industries.Hands‑on expertise with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)



tools, such as SQL or Dataiku.Working knowledge of Project Management Lifecycle Methodologies (Agile, waterfall).Knowledge of enterprise technology platforms and tools: Veeva CRM/Salesforce.Com, SharePoint, Veeva Vault.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3‑5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles, preferably within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.Proven experience developing and maintaining scalable reporting solutions and data assets to support business performance and compliance reporting across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to measure the value of reporting that supports business performance management, compliance monitoring, and data‑driven decision‑making.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team dynamic.Strong communication skills (verbal, written).Superior attention to accuracy and detail with minimal management oversight.Ability to meet tight deadlines for projects and operational support requests.Experience in facilitating Training, Learning and Development activities related to solutions launch and systems changes is an asset.The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $90,300.00 - $140,300.00.As applicable for the role – Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
