C-Contracts ManagerPosition: Full‑time contract at Edmonton, Alberta.Location: ENZHEC Site, Edmonton, Alberta (site‑based, Monday to Friday).Schedule: Site‑based, Monday to Friday.Compensation: $90.00 to $100.00 per hour.Experience: Extensive experience in contract management within large construction or industrial projects, preferably in energy, hydrogen, or heavy industrial facilities.The RoleGrizzlyTrek is seeking a Senior Manager, Contract Management to join our valued client's team at the ENZHEC facility in Edmonton, Alberta, supporting the Edmonton 3 Blue Hydrogen Project. The majority of sourcing activities are completed; this role is execution‑focused. The successful candidate will manage construction‑phase contracts, including unit‑rate, Time and Material (T&M;) and reimbursable contracts.What You’ll DoContract Execution and AdministrationLead contract administration for third‑party services, engineering, and construction contracts at the project site.Manage construction contracts executed on Time and Material, unit rate, and reimbursable bases, ensuring strict compliance with contractual terms and conditions.Oversee EPC and EPCM‑related contracts, amendments, and commercial interfaces during construction execution.Cost, Change, and Performance ManagementManage and validate T&M; cost controls, including labor, equipment, material, and indirect cost components.Review, analyze, and approve contractor invoices, ensuring alignment with approved rates, backup documentation, and contract terms.Lead change order development, evaluation, negotiation, and approval, ensuring timely commercial resolution and documentation.Monitor contractor performance against contractual, commercial, and schedule obligations,



escalating issues as required.Stakeholder and Systems LeadershipAct as the primary commercial interface between construction, engineering, procurement, finance, project controls, and external contractors.Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, balancing commercial risk, execution needs, and relationship management.Utilize SAP and contract management systems to support cost tracking, commitments, accruals, forecasting, and reporting.Apply LEMS processes to support disciplined contract execution, cost transparency, and governance compliance.Risk and GovernanceIdentify commercial risks and opportunities during construction execution and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure contract execution aligns with project governance, internal controls, and audit requirements.Support claims avoidance through proactive contract administration and early issue resolution.What You BringExtensive experience in contract management within large construction or industrial projects, preferably in energy, hydrogen, or heavy industrial facilities.Demonstrated experience managing Time and Material and unit rate construction contracts during execution phases.Proven ability to manage multiple complex contracts simultaneously in fast‑paced site environments.Solid commercial acumen with experience supporting construction execution teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Technical and Professional SkillsAdvanced experience administering Time and Material construction contracts,



including cost validation and rate analysis.Solid understanding of construction contract structures, EPC/EPCM models, and third‑party service agreements.Hands‑on experience with SAP (advanced user) for commitments, cost tracking, accruals, and reporting.Proficiency with LEMS processes and governance frameworks.Cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control for construction‑phase contracts.Invoice validation, reconciliation, and audit support.Labor, equipment, and indirect rate benchmarking and analysis.Change order management, documentation, and commercial negotiation.Strong systems‑focused mindset with the ability to leverage tools and data for decision‑making.Understanding of construction scheduling, resource planning, and interface management.Work EnvironmentThis is a site‑based role at the ENZHEC facility in Edmonton, Alberta.
