Support SGEU with essential building maintenance as a casual Building Services Worker based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Your role will involve cleaning, minor repairs, and ensuring a safe environment in the workplace.
In this position with SGEU, you’ll provide crucial maintenance services to keep our office building clean and functional. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and be experienced with hand tools and building services software. This role requires flexibility for shifts primarily in the afternoons and evenings, with potential weekend work as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop office spaces
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas




• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing
• Operate yard maintenance equipment and snow removal tools
• Assist with event set-up and furniture movement
Requirements:
• WHMIS certification and understanding of safety protocols
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 tools
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Solid organizational skills and multi-tasking ability
