Home health care worker (Permanent employment)

Full time / 30 to 40 hours per week

Aryafar Family

Location: Thornhill, ON

Salary: $21.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer’s/client’s home.

Responsibilities
Administer bedside and personal care to an elderly male with a disability.
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
Manage clothing and linens.




Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Provide companionship.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Requirements
Security and safety: Criminal record check.
Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Languages: English.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Experience an asset.
Personal suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability.
Flexibility: Organized, reliability, team player, patience, honesty.
