Part‑time Elementary French & English Teacher/Tutor

Employment type: Part‑time. Pay: $17.20–$18.00 per hour. Location: In‑person, Brooklin, Ontario. Commuting required; no relocation packages.

Responsibilities
Teach up to three students simultaneously at various levels.
Conduct lessons in both online and in‑person settings.
Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
Maintain a friendly and skilled manner at all times.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (or fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience).
Teaching certification is an asset but not required.
Positive knowledge of the Kindergarten‑to‑Grade‑8 curriculum.




Some experience teaching or tutoring at Kindergarten‑to‑Grade‑8 (or equivalent) level.
Solid English written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage up to three students simultaneously.

Schedule
After‑school and evening hours: at least two evenings per week (Mon/Wed or Tue/Th 3:30‑7:00 pm).
Saturday mornings: 9:00‑12:00 pm.
Commitment until the end of the term in June; summer continuation preferred.

Compensation

Pay: $17.20–$18.00 per hour.

Additional Information

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the Brooklin area.
