Seeking a Supply Chain or Commercial professional to support a Midstream Capital Project portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procurement lifecycle activities supporting capital projects across midstream assets, including transportation, storage, terminal, pipeline, and logistics operations.
- Minimum 6+ years of directly related professional experience and/or a combination of commercial and technical work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, contract management, and/or strategic sourcing with demonstrated success leading sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier performance management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams in developing and executing projects, initiatives, and strategies.
- Robust analytical capabilities, business acumen, and commercial judgment, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Understanding of engineering and construction project processes, as well as project team interfaces and roles.
- Strong knowledge of contracting and commercial concepts, processes, and negotiation strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across diverse groups.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional certifications such as SCMP, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma are considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, LiveLink, and Tableau.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement portfolios and participate in stakeholder meetings to gather demand, evaluate business requirements, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Source, procure, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop RFQ packages, establish bid evaluation criteria, lead supplier negotiations, and execute purchase orders.
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including creation, change management, and close-out activities.
- Provide supply chain expertise and guidance to business stakeholders.
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain functions.
- Ensure compliance with established supply chain policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.
- Full-time, office-based position.
- Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Long-term contract opportunity with an expected duration of 2 to 3 years based on performance.
