Develop new features for Intel's open-source compiler stack Enable the latest language standards Collaborate upstream with members of the Clang open-source community Collaborate across the industry to deliver effective compiler solutions Build compilers or compiler components using the LLVM framework Contribute to Intel's LLVM-based C, C++, SYCL, and Fortran compilers Support compiler performance, scalability, and portability across Intel CPU and GPU platforms Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics or a related technical discipline and 5+ years of experience OR Master's in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics or related technical fields and 3+ years of experience Experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, and data structures Hands-on compiler development experience Demonstrated history of technical contributions to open-source projects Demonstrated history of technical contributions to Clang (commit history, patches, reviews) Core LLVM expertise, including hands-on experience building compilers or compiler components using the LLVM framework Experience with optimization passes, code generation,
or frontend integration Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to proactively pursue solutions Intermediate-level C/C++ with deep understanding of language constructs oneAPI or similar vendor toolchain development is a preferred qualification Participation in standards committees (C, C++, Khronos, etc.) is a preferred qualification Must live and work in Canada Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in compiler development using the LLVM framework, with a robust background in C/C++ programming and contributions to open-source projects.
