Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policy and government regulations.Analyze, audit, reconcile, and resolve complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing.Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations.Research and interpret regulatory requirements and resolve tax, withholding, and garnishment issues for payroll processing.Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries.Create standard operating procedures and respond to merger and acquisition activities.Ensure time systems are compliant with company policy and government regulations.Respond to and resolve employee and client inquiries.Work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer the company payroll system with outside service provider.Functional SkillsPayroll PracticesWage and Hour Laws/ComplianceData AnalysisKnowledge ManagementAdditional SkillsProblem SolvingDetail OrientedCross-Functional CollaborationCustomer ServiceProcess ImprovementCommunicationSalary Range: $62,800 - $78,500Specialist Career StreamTypically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects—from design to implementation—while adhering to policies,



using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.Differentiating FactorsAutonomy:Established and productive individual contributor.
