It is well suited to a mechanically inclined qualified who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and customer interaction.ResponsibilitiesConsulting with customers after the sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services.Providing input into product design engineering based on field feedback.Responding to, evaluating, and expediting warranty claims.Estimating installation or repair costs.Investigating customer issues using a hands‑on, mechanically inclined approach.Applying technical analysis and problem‑solving skills to diagnose concerns.Documenting issues, observations, corrections, and recommendations using computer and smartphone tools.Using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively.Coordinating testing such as brake certification and post‑failure analysis investigations.Participating in industry associations and staying current on best practices, standards, and regulatory matters.Collaborating with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, Production,
and Quality as required.Supporting internal and customer training on installation, operation, and maintenance.Assisting with customer visits, events, trade shows, and conferences.Traveling throughout Canada and occasionally into the USA and Mexico as required.Qualifications – MandatoryPost‑secondary education in a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.3-5 years of experience in heavy‑duty truck or trailer‑related work.Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Mechanical aptitude and a hands‑on approach to troubleshooting.Ability to work cross‑functionally and support customer‑facing technical issues.Computer literacy, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to travel as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with axle and heavy‑duty braking systems.Understanding of wheel alignment concepts, including caster, camber, and toe in/out.Familiarity with blueprint reading.Knowledge of brake testing or post‑failure analysis.Experience supporting installation, maintenance, or technical training activities.Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000We are an equal‑opportunity employer.
