Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car, available for evening and weekend shift in the Vancouver area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

Responsibilities
Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team
Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation
Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
Assist clients with bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries, laundry, etc.
Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
Maintain a clean and secure environment for clients and staff
Drive clients in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Requirements
Driver's License and own vehicle is a MUST!
Genuinely concerned about helping people
Access to a mobile phone
HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number is a MUST
Current First Aid and CPR Training
Criminal Record Check
Weekend/evening availability is a MUST!

Our office serves seniors in Vancouver, Burnaby and surrounding communities including Richmond, Vancouver. This position may require travel to those areas – we do our best to match you with clients in your area.
