This temporary instructor position emphasizes creating enjoyable and safe skating experiences. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging instructions, and evaluating participants’ progress. Instructors play a key role in promoting skating as a valuable activity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and prepare all necessary lesson equipment
• Assist participants in getting into their skates
• Provide transparent instruction on skating techniques
• Manage evaluations and maintain participant records




• Keep the skate lock-up and area organized
Requirements:
• Certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR C
• Background checks including Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry
• Prior coaching or skating instruction experience is advantageous
• Effective engagement with children and diverse groups
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
